Brenda Vaughn
Brenda Vaughn is a Vice President and Officer of Ameriprise Financial, where she leads a large team of professionals in supervising the activity of financial advisors and clients including complex product sales and investment and financial advice. She is actively engaged in cross-organizational initiatives to promote careers in financial services for all.
Brenda has been in the financial services industry for over 30 years in a variety of roles and is a Certified Public Accountant and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER(TM) professional. She holds a B.A. in Accounting and Economics from Augsburg University and became a Certified Regulatory and Compliance Professional through Wharton Executive Education in partnership with FINRA.
Brenda and her husband, Jay, have been actively involved in the Minneapolis community for years through volunteering and financial support of causes important to them. They enjoy everything outdoors particularly in northern MN where they have a lake cabin. They have four children and five grandchildren, and they share their home with two cats.
