Leeza Shurtz
Leeza Shurtz is a Securities Compliance Officer at PFS Investments Inc., where she is responsible for investigating unusual activity to assess regulatory reporting requirements and ensure compliance with federal securities laws. She also conducts internal testing of policies and procedures across business units to evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for enhancement.
With extensive experience in anti-money laundering (AML) compliance, Leeza has led numerous fraud investigations resulting in regulatory filings and ongoing due diligence. Prior to her current role, she served as a Compliance Consultant with Renaissance Regulatory Services, Inc., where she conducted AML audits for broker-dealers and provided ongoing support in FinCEN, PST, and OFAC compliance for small firms.
Leeza is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) and holds the FINRA Series 7 license. She earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Florida State University.
