Amy Caiazza is a securities, fintech, and blockchain partner in Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati's Washington, D.C., office and is the leader of the firm's fintech and financial services group. She advises clients on cutting-edge regulatory and transactional matters involving the securities and commodities laws. Amy’s clients include Addepar, Altruist, Arta, CrowdStreet, Data.ai, and Upstart. Amy specializes in legal issues arising from the application of new technologies, such as artificial intelligence and blockchain, to investment offerings and asset management services. Amy also advises on whether companies are subject to regulation as investment companies, investment advisers, broker-dealers, and other regulated entities; on structuring companies and their operations to permissibly avoid regulation; on seeking no-action, exemptive, and similar relief; and, where necessary, on registering with the applicable regulators.
